do i pick the location?
yes, and you're never choosing alone. I help guide location selection based on places I know photograph beautifully and feel true to my style. sharing the vibe you're drawn to helps me recommend a location that fits your vision. I do have select locations I don't shoot at, which is why this step is important.
what do we wear?
neutrals are always a great choice! creams, tans, browns, and whites photograph beautifully with my editing style. if you'd like to add color, earth tones or light pastels work best. I'm always happy to help choose outfits that feel comfortable and timeless.
what should i avoid wearing?
I recommend avoiding bold patterns, neon colors, large logos, and heavy graphics, as they can be very distracting and pull focus from connection. very bright or overly saturated colors may also photograph harsher with my editing style. keeping outfits simple and cohesive allows the imagery to feel timeless and elevated.
what if I don't know where to shoot?
that's completely okay - most clients don't. ill help guide you through options based on your session type, desired vibe, and the lighting I know works best. once I understand your vision, ill recommend locations that feel natural, intentional, and true to my style.
what time will my session take place?
I photograph exclusively around sunset, as this light creates the soft, warm tones my work is known for. session times vary depending on the month and available light. on overcast days, sessions may take place earlier to ensure the most beautiful results.
